Mulled Hot Apple Cider

I know you've seen a million hot apple cider recipes, but this mulled cider recipe is a delicious, easy fall recipe that is great for fall and holiday gatherings. What makes this recipe so special? It only has 5 ingredients and is made in a slow cooker so you don't have to stand over the stove or worry about keeping it nice and hot.

INGREDIENTS: *3 Cinnamon sticks (3 inches) *2 Teaspoons whole cloves *1 Gallon apple cider *1 Cup packed brown sugar *1 Whole Orange plus orange slices DIRECTIONS: 1) Place cider and brown sugar in a slow cooker and stir until sugar is dissolved. 2) Poke holes in the orange with fork and press whole cloves into holes. Drop orange into cider and sugar. 3) Float cinnamon sticks and orange slices in cider mixture. 4) Place lid on slow cooker and cook on low for 2-3 hours or until heated through. Now how awesome is that? It just sits there on your kitchen counter filling your home with that delicious aroma and filling your guests with warmth and joy.
