The Wonder of Homemade Soap

I love to make homemade soaps. It has become a tradition at our house every spring and fall.

You can customize the ingredients, fragrance, and even the look by using different molds.

My youngest granddaughter was born with several skin and food allergies which made it impossible for her to use commercial soaps which contain dyes and fragrances. So I began to make a plain dye free, fragrance free, goat milk soap for her that includes Vitamin E Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, and Tea Tree Oil. Tea Tree Oil has been used for centuries as an herbal remedy to treat a variety of ski conditions, infections, and cuts. This soap is the only soap my little granddaughter can safely use. You can even wash your hair with it to treat dandruff. This wonderful soap has become a favorite Christmas gift every year for the whole family.
