Hey ya'll it's Lisa and I have to share with you a recipe today that is perfect for cold nights when comfort food is a must.

In the south breakfast for dinner is a "thing". As a mother I now know it also means mom is tired of fixing the same things and needs a break!

At times we will have the whole spread, at other times I make this amazing casserole, that can be prepared 24 hours in advance then just popped into the oven. I like to serve it with fresh fruit on the side.

I hope you enjoy this yummy delight as much as my family does.

POP UP Casserole.

Ingredients

16 oz container of biscuits

6 eggs

1/4 cup milk

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar

breakfast sausage

Directions

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees and prepare a casserole dish with cooking spray.

2.Cook sausage according to package.

3.While sausage is cooking open biscuits and cut each into 4-6 pieces. layer on the bottom of the casserole dish. In a bowl combine eggs, milk and cheese and mix well.

4.When sausage is finished sprinkle it onto of the biscuits then pour egg mixture on top of that.

5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

6. Serve with a side of fresh fruit.

This is a great dish to prepare ahead of time and cook when needed. It is also terrific for church breakfast.ENJOY!
