Recipe Wednesday: Homemade Granola

Hey Ya'll it's Lisa here with this weeks recipe. As a momma of two very active kids we find ourselves on the run and eating in the car or at a consession stand way to often. In an effort to keep my kids fueled and save money I researched healthy and yummy on the go snacks. One of our favorites is homemade granola this is great on its on or in yogurt. I hope you enjoy!
Homemade Granola

Ingredients
4 cups regular oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flaxseed
1/4 cup sesame seed
1/2 cup coconut
1 cup of any nut (your choice)
1/3 cup olive oil
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla
chocolate chips (optional)
Directions
Stir all the dry ingredients together in a jell roll pan.

Add the liquid ingredients and stir.
Bake in the over at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Stirring every 10 minutes.
Once removed from the oven you can sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.
Let cool and store in an air tight container.
