Recipe Wednesday: Sloppy Joes

This is one of our family favorites. It travels well, freezes well and goes over great with everyone. My gluten free friends can eat this yummy recipe over Fritos. I usually serve this with chips, fruit (in the summer watermelon) and coleslaw or Asian salad. ENJOY!

2 pounds ground beef or turkey

1 TBS onion powder

1 can tomato sauce

1/4 cup catsup

4 TBS brown sugar

1/2 tsp chili powder

1 1/2 tsp worchestire sauce

1 tsp salt

1 1/2 tsp dry mustard

Cook beef or turkey in skillet. Add remaining ingredients and let simmer on low for 20 minutes. serve.
