Grandma Camp 2018 in the Books.

Well, another Grandma Camp is finished for 2018. Every summer my 4 granddaughters come and stay with Grandpa and Grandma for a week of GRANDMA CAMP. The girls all love to come to the ranch and commandeer the entire second floor of our house as their own personal apartment for a week. It's always a fun week and even though I am tired at the end of the week, it's also bittersweet to see them go back home.

Each year we take road trips, 4-wheel, swim in the river, build a campfire and make hotdogs and s'mores, sew, cook, play board games, and take small road trips. This year we went to Springfield, Missouri to Johnny Morris' Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium. What an amazing place! We all had a great time!

But now it's back to school for the girls, and back to a very quiet house for Grandpa and Grandma. Kind of miss the sounds of all the laughter and pitter patter of little feet, and the smell of hairspray, lotion, and sunscreen. But you can be sure that plans for Grandma Camp 2019 are already underway.
